BTOBExchange Strengthens Trade Relations Between Morocco and Guinea

As part of its ongoing efforts to expand international economic relations, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region (CCIS-RSK) organized a business mission to Guinea from June 22 to June 27, 2024. This initiative, supported by the Guinean Ministries of Commerce and Agriculture, aimed to explore cooperation and investment opportunities between the two nations.
An Economic Forum to Connect Market Players
The Guinea-Morocco Economic Forum 2024 gathered key business leaders and government officials from both countries. During her speech, the Guinean Minister of Commerce emphasized the shared commitment to strengthening historical ties and fostering new sustainable partnerships, particularly in science, education, and culture.
The Moroccan Ambassador to Guinea highlighted the visits of King Mohammed VI to Conakry in 2014 and 2017, which played a pivotal role in boosting economic exchanges. He invited Moroccan businesses to leverage the numerous opportunities provided by the strong bilateral economic relations.

Strategic Cooperation Agreements Signed
Several cooperation agreements were finalized during the forum, including the establishment of a Conakry-Casablanca maritime route to enhance trade collaboration between the chambers of commerce in agriculture, industry, and services.
The forum also provided a platform to present Guinea’s investment climate and business regulations, helping establish business contacts and explore new partnership opportunities between Moroccan and Guinean enterprises.
